About Alyce:
Alyce Roberston is a seasoned public administrator with 39 years in progressively more responsible positions in local government, who possesses the cornerstones of personal integrity, budget and fiscal responsibility, human resource management, combined with creativity and innovation. An innovative and results-oriented manager with the historical context and know-how to build solutions for complex issues, Alyce serves as the Executive Director of the Miami Downtown Development Authority (Miami DDA). As Executive Director, Alyce oversees and directs the activities of the public-private business organization that strives to develop Miami's downtown area to make Downtown Miami the most livable urban center in the nation and strengthen its position as the international center for commerce, culture, and tourism. Through programs, services, and partnership with the City of Miami and other governmental entities, the Miami DDA is dedicated to positioning Downtown in the global marketplace; improving the quality of life to attract and retain employers, employees, residents, and visitors; making Downtown more business-friendly, compelling, and competitive; creating an environment that gives businesses the tools to be competitive and create jobs; contributing to diversifying the economy and strengthening Miami’s world-class position; and building on strengths of leading industries and leverage strategic advantages to expand tourism and overall economic base.
